Watercolor

My style of watercolor painting is currently all over the map as I explore my options, skill and tastes. Most (but not all) are with ink first then watercolor, and I’ve even explored a bit with watercolor markers and Gouache (rhymes with ‘Gu-wash’). You never know what you will get with watercolor till the end.

Pink & Plemmonds – 2021

Ink and Watercolor, Approximately 5 x 7 inches. This is an old store up in this area that my friends found and took a photo of. I’ve done some marker studies of it but I really like how this watercolor turned out.

Gin In Winter – 2021

Ink and Watercolor, Approximately 8 x 8 inches. This is from a photo that Andy Feinstein took of an old Cotton Gin in snow. This was painted using Winsor & Newton watercolor markers.

Alone – 2021

Ink and Gouache, Approximately 5 x 8 inches. This is from a trip down to Apalachicola, FL. down by the docks.

Ron’s Place – 2021

Ink and Watercolor, Approximately 5 x 8 inches. This was a commissioned piece for a clients house in Napa Valley, CA in the redwoods. I also have a video of the creation of the marker study, which was also given to the client.

Flowers– 2020

Old P.C.– 2020

Ink and Watercolor, Approximately 8 x 10 inches. This is an old miners cabin in the canyon above old town Park City, UT.  Hiked there 100’s of times.  Lots of mining history in Park City and a great place to take your dog.

Plants– 2020

Ink and Watercolor, Approximately 5 x 7. Just some plants on a stone wall in the town close to here. We have a walking loop that goes by here. The wall is gone now as the house is being renovated where this is located.

Uncle David’s – 2021

Ink and Watercolor, Approximately 5 x8 inches. This is of Bobbie’s uncle David’s house in Auburn, AL. and was framed and given to him as a present. Very nice and relaxing house in the rolling hills.
